ArchCrux collects very little personal information.

1. your email address when you subscribe to receive new essay notifications
2. basic technical information that is normally collected when a website is visited, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and request logs
3. basic analytics data about how the site is used

1. send new essay notifications if you subscribe
2. operate and maintain the website
3. understand basic site usage
4. detect errors, abuse, or security issues

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not use subscriber emails for unrelated advertising.

If you subscribe, we store your email address so we can notify you when a new essay is published.

Subscriber emails are stored in Resend Contacts.

ArchCrux uses trusted third party services to operate the site.

These currently include:

1. Vercel for hosting, deployment, and basic web analytics
2. Resend for email delivery and subscriber contact storage
3. Cloudflare for DNS, security, and email routing

These services may process information only as needed to provide their services. This can include email addresses, IP addresses, browser information, device information, request logs, and basic usage data.

ArchCrux does not sell subscriber emails or share them for unrelated advertising.

ArchCrux may use Vercel Web Analytics to understand basic site usage, such as page views, traffic sources, and general visitor activity.

Analytics are used to understand whether the site is useful and which pages are being read. They are not used to identify individual readers for advertising.

ArchCrux may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for the site to work.

If analytics or platform services use similar technologies, they are used for basic site operation, security, performance, or aggregate usage measurement.

Subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe, ask for deletion, or the information is no longer needed.

Technical logs and analytics data may be kept for a limited period by ArchCrux or its service providers for security, reliability, debugging, and usage measurement.

ArchCrux is not intended for children under 13.
